This stunning shrub is often used to create living borders, hedgerows or screens. The stunning nectar-rich flowers attract birds and pollinators. It can be grown as a single trunk tree or multi-stemmed shrub. The pure white, fragrant flowers are among the first to open in spring. They are heavier yeilding in full sun with yellow to red, round, edible fruits measuring up to 1″ in diameter. 
 
Wild Plum is easily grown in average, dry to medium wet, well-drained soils. Some plants will sucker and others won't. Maintain your colony by removing unwanted suckers to control their spread.
